Branding is a Leadership Responsibility.

Your brand is the most valuable asset you and your company own. Your brand is the perception of your company in the minds of your clients. Your brand is more than the sum of its parts. Without a strong and well defined brand, you're just an entry on the bidders list.

Branding is not just for the marketing department. Each employee must be part of the branding effort. Each employ must understand the brand. The way you answer the phone, the condition of your equipment, and the way your employees talk about your company within the community will all have an effect on your brand.

Branding must be embraced from the highest levels of management. Leaders must continually reinforce the brand by their example. Management provides the time and the resources for the branding efforts and employee training.

Brand reinforcement should be on every manager's daily to-do list.
